AiJiao Oolong is also known as “Short Foot” when translated. It gets this name from the short leaves this plant generally produces. This tea was harvested in spring 2016 from 20 year old tea plants grown around 200-350 M in elevation. We have around .8 of an acre dedicated to this varietal.
AiJiao has a lighter roast which is allows the brew to be inviting and sweet. The floral tones coat the mouth. Each brew is a new play on floral and roasted mineral notes common to the Wuyi region. We suggest this for those that prefer less roasted oolong. The after sweetness with this is noticeable for long after drinking.
