Bai Ji Guan

Bai Ji Guan or literally translated toWhite Cockscomb gets it’s name from unique origins.

Legend has it that a monk had his baby’s life saved by his faithful rooster and It is said this tea plant was to have grown at the site of burial.

The monk giving his honor to his animal’s sacrfice had named this tea varietal after his rooster.

This tea is light roasted and has crisp floral notes that reminds one of a DanCong with the Wuyi mineral profile many have come to grow so fond of.

Hay, Grassy, and Sweet notes are present but this complex tea draws one in with the suitable light feel on the palate. We find although lighter than our other offering Bad Ji Guan keeps each brew feeling refreshing with nice changing expression each infusion.
