This tea is grown on Mt Wuyi at 500 M in elevation and is pressed into a brick shape that resembles a chocolate bar. The tea is both appealing to the eye and desirable to the senses.
It will possess a unique aged taste different from our other DaHongPao. We find the aged DaHongPao to be more subtle on the sense and more calming. Notes of cherry fruitiness, with hints of Bamboo.
Each square contains around 10 grams and is enough for one medium pot of tea or a traditional gongfu tea session.
It is recommend to use boiling water. Our methods for opening up the leaves is a 15 second wash followed by a 20 rest rest, with one last 30 second wash to fully open the brick.
