This 2015 Spring Harvested oolong grown in Fujian province China on the Wuyi Mountains at an 200-300 M. It comes from plants around 15 years old and has about a half acre of span within the tea garden.
Drinking this tea is refreshing for its lighter roast which gives it a floral subtle citrus taste. Initially, there are flavors of almond which are accompanied by a sweet flower blossom fragrance. In the later infusions mineral notes come out with a sweet lingering flavor – providing a calming energy.
We find this tea light and a great choice for those who are not fans of the darker roasted Wuyi tea.
