This fully handmade tea was harvested in the spring of 2016. It is from the area of the inner core region known as the Water Curtain Cave or Shuiliandong. The tea plants themselves are about 25 years of age and are grown at 300-450 M in elevation.
The garden space for this varietal is only .15 of an acre. With the tea being fully handmade and expertly crafted this is the finest grade we offer. Our suppliers typically have 18-20 Kg of this grade each season.
This RouGui is more classic in taste when compared to Honey Peach RouGui. Traditionally RouGui has a stronger taste with a deeper roast and this is just that.
Expect a viscous brew and many infusions form this higher quality leaf.
